But doing these subjects well is a different matter and requires a far greater skill set. I will help provide this, giving students the confidence to not only succeed now, but flourish later on in their education through the development of stronger conceptual and intellectual understanding and a more sophisticated appreciation of these most important of subjects.

I have been qualified for the past 4 years and have enjoyed teaching students from Year 7 - 13 History. I also have 2.5 years experience teaching Sociology at A-Level.
As well as classroom teaching, I have experience tutoring students one-to-one through mentoring programmes hosted within my schools so I am excited to be able to offer those skills to more students.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy Cheerleading as both an athlete and a coach. Working with young people and striving for success is a part of my day to day role and my sporting commitments outside of school.
I am a qualified Computer Science teacher and I hold a 1st Class Honours degree within the subject. I always have had a passion for helping children strive and reach their maximum capacity and having worked for many years in the industry programming for the NHS and delivering the curriculum, I decided that I want to pass on my knowledge in a more personal way to the next generation.
Students can find a fun but meaningful lesson being delivered consistently with myself and due to my “get to the know the student” ethos, lessons will become more personalised and relative the longer we work together.
I really do have a true passion and enthusiasm for making sure every child I can influence gets the best possible outcome for themselves and I can’t wait to help you achieve your goals.
I am an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher of Art and Design, with a specialised PGCE in Art. I have over four years’ experience in teaching Art and Design and three as Head of Art. My first teaching post was in a British Overseas Preparatory School in Kenya, where I was Head of Art teaching reception to year 8 Art following the British National Curriculum. After 3 years in Kenya (2016-2019) I returned to UK and joined an independent preparatory school London which is where I currently teach.
I believe that every pupil possesses talents in some aspects of Art, and these deserve to be drawn out and finely tuned - I am committed to discovering every student’s inner artist. I love teaching Art and the benefits that it brings, both academically and socially. I plan my lesson as part of a project, learning key skills and then producing artistic outcomes to be proud of.
In my spare time; I love to travel, to read and to paint and draw people and the wonderful world around us.
