Primary Tuition

 We are able to support children with all areas of the English curriculum: phonics, reading, writing, grammar and spellings. 

All of our tutors are fully qualified teachers with a DBS check.

Having experience across all age ranges, our tutors can target their sessions to suit the needs of each child. 

Our tutors have undertaken training to be able to follow schemes of work which are taught in many local primary schools such as: Rainbow Grammar, Jolly Phonics and Letters and Sounds.

 Our tutors can help children to develop a love for maths. Our personalised teaching supports children's confidence, closes gaps in knowledge and provides them with the skills to apply their knowledge to a range of mathematical concepts. 

The reason many children find mathematics difficult at school is because they lack in their knowledge of appropriate strategies to solve calculations. Being experts in the subject, our tutors can support your child in developing efficient mental calculation strategies. Following tuition sessions, our parents have found it immensely useful that our tutors share with them the techniques that they themselves can use with their child. 

As our tutors currently work in local primary schools, they are up to date with the national examinations which are undertaken in schools. 

These include: Early Years Foundation Stage Profile, the Year 1 Phonics Check, KS1 SATs and KS2 SATs. 

Our tutors are able to support with exam technique, provide example test papers and support children with their confidence when they come to take the tests. 

We also provide tailored support for the 11+ examination which is undertaken as part of the entry examination for some independent schools. 

We are able to offer paired or group tuition if your child would like to have a lesson with their friend/sibling in the same subject and if their attainment is similar. 

 We are able to offer discounts when you purchase several hours of tuition per week.
